Day in the Life of a Form 1 Specialist

We asked Ari, one of our Tuckfields Form 1 specialists, why her days are never dull. This is what she had to say:

There is a lot of variety in my day, because I work with a diverse range of clients as well as engaging with agents, referrers, and other interested parties throughout the Form 1 process.

We work in a paperless environment, which I love. It means we are minimising our environmental impact on planet earth, and we are always looking for ways to improve and streamline the way we work.

“I love working at Tuckfields, and the way that we all work together. It is a very tight knit team”

Mondays are always the busiest days, as we get an influx of enquiries after the weekend, and then it settles into a steady flow for the rest of the week.

My working days are a mix of managing and reconciling accounts, following up councils, calling vendors to explain the process, taking payments, communicating with agents constantly to update on where things are at, having the Form 1 and file set up and drafted ready to finalise once the last search comes in, ready to send to one of our conveyancers to do a final check and sign Part D before forwarding to vendor and agent.

I’m a very organised and detail-oriented person, and it’s very satisfying knowing that I have everything in place, that I have ensured that all the documents are accurate, and that I have followed up all the missing details.

This role is a great mix of dealing with people and working with systems and processes to make sure everything is done efficiently. It’s nice knowing that we have helped make the process so smooth and stress-free for our clients and referrers during their property transaction.
